 This Privacy Policy explains how wTuber (“we”, “us”, the “App”) handles information when you use the wTuber iOS app. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

Summary

• We do not require an account and we do not upload your videos, photos, music, or vault files to any server.
• We use Google AdMob to show ads and Google Firebase for analytics, remote configuration, and diagnostics.
• Your private Vault items are encrypted on your device and unlocked with Face ID / Touch ID / passcode.

Information Collected Automatically

Through the third-party services below, the following may be collected:

• Advertising & identifiers (Google AdMob): device advertising identifier (IDFA, only if you allow tracking), device type and settings, coarse (IP-based) location, and ad-interaction data — used to deliver and measure ads.
• Analytics (Firebase Analytics): app usage such as screens viewed and features used, session and device information (model, OS version, app version, language) and a randomly generated app-instance identifier.
• Diagnostics & configuration (Firebase): crash/performance information and remote configuration used to improve stability and manage features.

Information Stored Only on Your Device

The following never leaves your device and is not collected by us:

• Vault content: videos, photos, and files you add to the Vault are encrypted on-device (AES‑GCM); encryption keys are kept in the iOS Keychain and unlocked with Face ID / Touch ID / passcode.
• Your media library: videos and music are read locally only to display and play them; they are never uploaded.
• In-app browser: pages you open load directly from those websites. We do not send your browsing history to our servers. App settings and playback progress are stored locally on your device.

Permissions We Request

• Photos: to show, play, and (at your request) move or delete videos in your library.
• Media & Apple Music: to show and play tracks from your music library.
• Face ID: to unlock your encrypted Vault (handled by the system; we never receive your biometric data).
• App Tracking Transparency: to ask permission before using your advertising identifier for personalized ads.

Tracking & Consent

On first launch we ask for tracking permission (Apple’s App Tracking Transparency). If you decline, ads are shown in a non-personalized manner. In the EEA/UK we also present a Google consent (UMP) message where required. You can change your choice anytime in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

Third-Party Services

We rely on Google services (AdMob and Firebase). Their handling of data is described here:

Data Sharing & Sale

We do not sell your personal information. Data described above is processed by Google as our service provider for advertising, analytics, and diagnostics.

Data Retention

Analytics and advertising data are retained by Google according to their policies and your settings. Local data remains on your device until you delete it or remove the App.

Children’s Privacy

wTuber is not directed to children. It includes web browsing and is intended for users aged 17+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Rights

Depending on your region (e.g., GDPR/CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data, and to opt out of certain processing. You can control tracking in iOS Settings, and you may contact us at the email below for any request.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
